Hi, I’m Adeel Abbas, and I was born on February 27, 1996. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of The Punjab in Lahore. I’ve been working as a freelancer for the past four years.
I got interested in computer science during my college years. I learned a lot about programming, algorithms, and artificial intelligence. This helped me develop strong technical skills and a good ability to solve problems.
Now, I’m planning to do a Master’s degree in Computer Science. I want to learn more about things like machine learning, data science, and software engineering. I’m also excited about working on research projects and teaming up with other students at the university.
I think the MSc program at the University of Hertfordshire is a great fit for my goals. I’m looking forward to learning from the professors, working with fellow students, and contributing to the field of computer science.

When I decided to continue my master in abroad, I preferred UK because I have made researches and I believe that UK is the best place for me to study Computer Science as its universities keep on updating their syllabus, have many qualified professors and excellent facilities along with state-of-the-art campuses.

We are truly living in a digital age, driven by computer science, which is why this field attracts me for my study.

The University is located in the town of Hatfield which is just a 25 minutes ride away from Central London, the top study and tourist destination in the world (QS University Rankings). This means I can easily visit the city and have access to the best eateries, pubs, theatre, retail shops and parks, museums and other tourist attractions.
Yes, I had shortlisted Kingston university and Roehampton University London.
I did comparison by doing self-research along with reading reviews of web forums about overall ranking and program reputation, course suitability, teaching standards, location’s advantage, innovation of course, reviews of web forums, student support services, high student pass and satisfaction rate of international students, then I finalized this University.
I did not choose Kingston and Roehampton university because their ranking is lower than Hertfordshire. Kingston University ranks at 87th while Roehampton is ranked at 91st And, Hertfordshire is ranked at 83rd
At Hertfordshire University, the University as a whole achieved a student satisfaction result of 90%, At Kingston is 78%, the student satisfaction rate of Roehampton is 75%.
The Graduate employability of Kingston University is 69% and Roehampton is 57% while university of Hertfordshire is 97% which is higher than these university.

Another reason for not choosing these two universities is that the course and modules they are offering are not that much interesting.

Education is the backbone of any person who wants to know more about this world and trade. Pakistan is under developing country which does not have well ranked Universities. Universities lack teaching and learning strategies which will be used to help student acquire and develop appropriate concepts, knowledge and skills. They do not offer seminars, workshops, practical sessions and tutorials.
It is mostly learned through practical experience on the job. The issue emerging from Pakistani universities now is that most of them have had very little exposure to the actual world, whereas computer science is entirely concerned with the real world.
It’s my opinion that in our country, Pakistan, almost 70% of students want to study abroad. However, the remaining 30% want to pursue their studies in Pakistan. Nowadays, the students are from the contemporary era, so everyone wants to learn how to speak in front of others, how to face the predicaments and how to give the return positively as well.
Despite the fact that Pakistan has many colleges that offer programmes in computer science, none of them are highly regarded or ranked. Despite the fact that the issue is not particularly complex, success in the industry necessitates creative solutions, so I want to learn as much as I can about it. That’s why I want to start my study from UK.
Regarding other countries I had thought like about Italy, Canada and Australia however, there are some disadvantages I saw to opting for other options;
The reason for not choosing Italy is that Italian people obviously speak Italian language and they will expect from me to learn their language because I am there. In the beginning when I don’t know Italian, I will face a lot of difficulties in understanding what is going around there. The daily people like at mess for food, hostels, ticket counters, shopping complex, malls, bus or taxi stops etc. will always talk in Italian. (Master in Computer Science- Politecnico di Torino)
If I talk about Canada, the international students looking forward to pursuing degree they need a lot of tests like IELTS score (other ELP equivalent tests), and for some universities GMAT scores to get into the program. Merely fulfilling the admission criteria for master’s for Canadian colleges does not ensure admission. Also, the climatic conditions are very harsh and make it very challenging for Pakistani students to adjust there. Even admission deadlines require applying some 7, or 8 months before intake. Australia occupies a large mass making it very self-contained. Major cities are spread far apart, and one has to drive hours to get across the cities. Some towns are so widespread that one may drive for more than half a day just to get to another city. Accordingly, numerous learners are liable to withstand exhausted and homesick because it is difficult to go out in weekends and will have nothing to do besides studies. In Australia, I may be exposed to different types of transition shock as they adapt to a new environment. Altogether, there are a mix of cultures and people who have totally different life style from Pakistan. This might not suit me and sometimes I will tend to adopt non ethical things prevailing from different people. This is the reason I did not choosing Australia for education.
